• Reservations 90+ days prior to arrival may be provisionally held for 10 days. In the event that we receive a confirmed reservation against the space held, travellers will have the opportunity to either release or confirm the reservation within 48 hours
• Reservations 65+ days prior to arrival may be provisionally held for 7 days. In the event that we receive a confirmed reservation against the space held, travellers will have the opportunity to either release or confirm the reservation within 48 hours
• All bookings must be confirmed in writing
• A 50% deposit is required to secure a reservation 48-hours after confirming with proof of payment sent to reservations@graceofafrica.co.za
• Full prepayment is required at Grace of Africa 65-Days before arrival
• A Tourism Levy does not apply at Grace of Africa Nature Lodge

• More than 180 days prior to arrival no cancellation fee
• More than 90 days prior to arrival 30% of the full accommodation charge.
• More than 65 days prior to arrival: 50% of the full accommodation charge.
• Less than 65 days prior to arrival: 75% of the full accommodation charge.
• Less than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% of the full accommodation charge

Any reservation of 10 pax or more people is considered a group.

• A 25% deposit is payable on confirmation of the reservation no more than of 48-hours later and proof payment sent to reservations@graceofafrica.co.za
• One further deposit of 25% is payable 90-Days before arrival
• The full balance owing is required no later than of 65 days prior to arrival.

Group Cancellation Policy

• More than 220 days prior to arrival no cancellation fee
• More than 150 days prior to arrival 30% of the full accommodation charge.
• More than 90 days prior to arrival: 50% of the full accommodation charge.
• Less than 65 days prior to arrival: 100% of the full accommodation charge

All bookings paid for or confirmed (50% Standard and Groups 25% deposit) prior to any change of rates, will be honoured. Payments to Grace of Africa 5* Nature Lodge shall be at rates specified in the Rate Schedule, or as agreed in writing from time to time. Rates may change without prior notice!!

Exception Children: Children between the ages of 2-6 years old are permitted on game drives at the sole discretion of the rangers / guides. (Exclusive Lodge Bookings Only) Whilst every effort is made to accommodate children, we reserve the right to provide alternative meal arrangements for children. (For all Exclusive Lodge Bookings Only)

We are in a low-risk malaria area, as we are part of the southern boundary of Kruger National Park. NB. Please consult your local doctor for advice on malaria prophylaxis recommendations and further information. Please bring your own mosquito repellents. Mosquitoes are usually not present in our colder Winter months, but we are here to advise always and answer accordingly.

Walking safaris can be arranged for the mornings, instead of a drive and is subject to availability (Age limit is 16 years and older). The walk is about 3-4 hours long. We could do a combined Walking Safari & Game Drive at an additional cost. Guests with walking disabilities or difficulties, health problems or difficulty breathing, cannot partake in a walking safari. This must be pre-booked through the lodge.

All terms and conditions, whether general or special, shall be interpreted and take effect according to the laws of South Africa. The Courts of South Africa shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any claims which may arise between the client and Grace of Africa.

Grace of Africa 5* Nature Lodge shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of any property whether belonging to the client or any of the guests, nor shall Grace of Africa 5* Nature Lodge be responsible for any personal injury which may be sustained by any guests or by any directors, servants or agents of the client, whether such damage or personal injury be caused by, or arise from the negligence of Grace of Africa 5* Nature Lodge or its employees or otherwise. The client hereby indemnifies Grace of Africa 5* Nature Lodge and all its directors, servants or agents of the client in respect of such personal injury, infectious diseases, illnesses, losses or damages.

All guests will be required to settle their accounts on departure for extras, levies, beverages, and everything else that is not included in the inclusions. This can be done by in cash or by secure online credit card payment before check-out.

NB! Insurance:
Grace of Africa Nature Lodge urges all guests to take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance – including “cancel for any reason” coverage – in order to cover the financial implications of Grace of Africa’s Standard Cancellation Terms and Conditions.

Guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.

Check-in time is at 14h00pm and checkout time is at 10h00am Strictly for our staff to make sure they clean spotlessly for our next guests checking in.

Rates are subject to Government V.A.T. (15%), fuel, food and other price fluctuations and are subject to change without prior notice.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed in ZAR (South African Rand), less 4 % for bank charges incurred.

All funds received will be held in a secure financial facility until the travel date.
